This week was one of gifts. The first being the gift of children’s books. If you are looking for books that have inclusion themes and other cultures, these new additions may be worth checking out. From the Northwest and Algonquin Native Americans, to Tehran and China or Ireland, these stories are beautifully illustrated and some include a reading guide to use with your children.
The second gift was the gift of support by patrons with the Annual Drive donations and matching gifts to support our grant for the site and building renovations and repairs.
The project would allow for repair to the building to reduce moisture and upgrade our electrical system as well as heating and lighting along with improved air quality. The new plans call for a new expanded deck and handicap access with better landscaping to enhance the outdoor use by patrons. |
