Living In A Working Waterfront Community ~ A Conversation Series
On October 21, in conjunction with 5 other Harpswell organizations, the library held the first of an ongoing series about our Harpswell working waterfront community we call home. Seasonal Seafood kicked off a paneled discussion by Maine Coastal Fishermen’s Association outreach director, Monique Coombs. This Bailey Island resident led a well attended (hybrid) discussion about fisheries through the seasons. The library has cookbooks to check out in order to prepare and enjoy these seafood options.
The next discussion was November 18th at the Cundy’s Harbor Community Hall at 6 PM. Multigenerational Harpswell Families will be the focus with representatives from all of Harpswell.
